General Story:

Your planet suddenly came under siege, and your people only had enough time to prepare one ship—yours. In their haste, they couldn’t fully repair the spaceship and had to leave out the navigation system. But don’t worry too much—your onboard mining and asteroid detection software has been rigged to give you the miracle of sight... occasionally. Hey, be grateful they didn’t leave you completely blind in space.
